Dear ECTA Supporters,
March 20th – the official start of spring. With all this snow still on the ground it still seems so far away! But soon enough, the sun will be shining, the snow will be gone, and we’ll all be back to our favorite trail activities. As the snow melts, remember that the ground underneath is still very soft – the start of spring also marks the start of mud season! As always, look down and make sure that you are not leaving deep footprints, hoofprints or tire marks. If you are, pack it in for the day or head for drier ground. The more damage done to the trails in spring, the more maintenance work will need to be done later!
We have a jam-packed lineup of spring activities planned for all trail users, starting with the
Mill Pond Trail Walk on March 22nd. We hope that you will join us at theAnnual Meeting on April 1st at the Gould Barn to hear about our exciting upcoming year. Remember, theECTAthlon is not far away!! Start getting your teams ready for the June 7th team relay event. Early registration discount ends April 30th. Corporate sponsorships are available and we are introducing the corporate challenge division this year, with special awards for company supported teams.
