This year’s 19 mile Pan-Ipswich Challenge will take place on Saturday May 14. This is a great way to get to know the extent of our incredible trail system. Retracing the same route as last year, we will start at Hood Pond (see map for start here) at 8AM, wind our way through Willowdale State Forest (West), Willowdale State Forest (East- over our new Boardwalk!), Bradley Palmer State Park, Greenbelt’s Pingree Reservation, The Trustees Appleton Farms and Grassrides, New England Biolabs Campus, the Maplecroft Trail, then down Argilla Road to The Trustees Crane Beach.
The funds raised go straight to support our Spring Trail Maintenance – much needed work after the heavy snows of last winter. There are trees and branches down all over and ECTA is out there cleaning them up.
There are two ways to support the P.I.C. this year.
