16th Annual Equine EXPO and Paraphernalia Sale
Plans are well underway for this year’s event which will take place on Saturday, May 7, from 9 am to 3 pm in the Arena Building at the Topsfield Fairgrounds. Some of the people doing demonstrations are Denise Bean-Raymond, Scott Laffey and Chris Cassenti. In order to make this another successful year, we need sponsors, vendors and volunteers as well as donations. Help is needed several times during April to sort and price items. On the day of the sale, volunteers are needed to get vendors to their spaces early in the day, take money at the door, work at the sales tables, assist the people doing the demonstrations and packing up things at the end. If you can help for a couple of hours please give us a call. We also need donations for the ECTA tables- tack, riding apparel or stable equipment that is no longer needed, books, artwork or anything related to horses (dog items are accepted too.) Items can also be donated for the silent auction. Donations can be dropped off anytime or we can pick them up. You can also bring them to the ECTA Annual Meeting on April 12. More info and the sponsor/vendor contract are on the ECTA website.
