As a result of a strong conservation partnership between the Raymond Family, ECTA, the Trust for Public Land, The Town of Ipswich, Essex County Greenbelt, Mass Department of Conservation and Recreation, and Mass Department of Agriculture, one of the most visible and important landscapes in Ipswich, and an ECTA Trail Easement through it, is protected forever. Nearly 2 years of effort has protected the beautiful Maplecroft Farm. While the land remains in private ownership, it will remain open and beautiful forever.
