REI Grant Award for Ipswich River Trails
We are excited to announce that ECTA is being granted an easement for the trails at the Ipswich River Watershed Association, and that we have been awarded a $10,000 grant from Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) to improve and expand these trails and the surrounding trail network.
Did you know that Massachusetts DCR’s Willowdale State Forest offers over 40 miles of trails ranging from fire roads to single tracks? Join ECTA as we explore this extensive trail network on a novice/intermediate level mountain bike ride led by Scott Halstead and Bruce MacDonald. We’ll cover about 5-8 miles of trails, which should take about 1.5-2 hours. “Wheels down” at 8:30 am. Weather looks like it is finally cooling off on Sunday – should be a great day for a ride!
