ECTA July News: Ride, Run & Roll!

Dear ECTA Supporters,

We hope that you have all received our recent
Summer Newsletter in your mailboxes and have enjoyed reading about all of the exciting events and projects that you have made possible!   To view the full newsletter online click here.   The Truth About Trail Easements article has generated great responses from our readers and we hope that this provides more information about some of the behind-the-scenes kind of work that ECTA does!

We’re heading into the best time of year for hitting the trails: the bugs are fading, the temperatures are starting to cool off, and we have been working hard to keep the trails open and clear.   We have lots of events planned for late summer & fall – there is something for everyone!   Read on below to learn more about our August & September events for equestrians, runners and bikers.

Explore Ipswich Trail Ride

Join ECTA board member Joe Sandulli and trail steward Ralph Williams on an equestrian trail ride adventure across Ipswich on Sunday, August 18th.
We’ll explore trails through the Julia Bird Reservation, Mill Road Farm, Turner Hill Farm, Bradley Palmer State Park, Willowdale State Forest, Linebrook Woods and Prospect Hill.   The route is about 7 miles and the pace will be mostly trotting and walking.
