The end is in sight! The official start of spring is just days away and we have a jam-packed lineup of events planned. Trail runs, bike rides, hikes, and of course our cross-discipline ECTAthlon relay event – there is something for everyone! We’ll kick things off this Sunday with the Mill Pond Snowshoe Hike in West Newbury.

As the snow melts, please remember our recent Trail Alert about mud season. It’s tempting to hit the trails full force right now, but keep in mind that any damage done will affect our enjoyment of this resource for the rest of the season!
New Half Marathon Event
As the snow melts, we are already busy planning our 1st Annual Spring for the Trails Half Marathon which will be held on Sunday, May 3rd! The course follows single and double track trails at Willowdale State Forest and is a great way to start off your trail running season.
The 2015 ECTAthlon is shaping up to be our best year yet! We’re excited to welcome Seaside Cycle, Dover Saddlery and CRAFT Sportswear as event sponsors and will be announcing additional sponsors in the coming weeks. Our new 5-mile run and bike courses are being mapped out and our finish line celebration will once again be hosted by EBSCO Publishing. Don’t have a team? Contact us and we will match you up!
