Peak fall foliage season is almost upon us, and this really is the BEST time of year to be out on the trails! � Don’t know your way around the trails? � An ECTA Trail Map will help get you started!

We hope you will join our friends at West Newbury Open Space and the Manchester-Essex Conservation Trust for some great walks this weekend. � If you haven’t been over to the New England Biolabs property lately, this would be a great weekend to check out all of the work we have done to improve these beautiful trails! � Also, be sure to mark your calendars for our fall Trail Work Day on November 3rd!

New England Biolabs

We have been busy working at the New England Biolabs campus over the last few months, and the trails are in fantastic condition! � In addition to our earlier trail widening work, we have now filled in holes, raised the trail level in wet areas, and have added new surfacing to many of the trails throughout the property.

November Trail Work Day

Thanks to the grant we received from REI, ECTA will be working in the Dow Brook Conservation Area on November 3rd. � Join ECTA staff and fellow volunteers as we close off an existing muddy trail, reroute the trail to a new location and construct a boardwalk through the wetland area.
