REI Volunteer Trail Work Day
Saturday, Sept 29th, 8:30 am, Bradley Palmer State Park
Celebrate the outdoors on National Public Lands Day by volunteering! Our friends at REI and the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will remove debris and make repairs along the Accessible Trail in Bradley Palmer State Park. We will also be working at Moon Hill clearing back brush from the perimeter of the field. After all the FUN working, we’ll gather together for lunch and celebrate our accomplishments.
Volunteers should wear sturdy footwear, long pants and work gloves. If you have them, please bring tools such as loppers and handsaws or shovels and metal rakes. Remember to dress for the weather and wear bug repellant! Water, snacks and lunch will be provided. REI Tech volunteer shirts will be given to all who register in advance. Sign up now! >>
