Dear ECTA Supporters,
We hope you all weathered the worst of hurricane Sandy yesterday without any major damages. As you head back out onto the trails this week, be sure to keep us informed of any storm cleanup needed so we can keep the trails open!
We also invite you to join us this Saturday morning for a
Volunteer Trail Work Day at the Dow Brook Conservation Area in Ipswich. These trails are great for walking, running, birding and horseback riding and connect to Willowdale State Forest, the Linebrook Woods Conservation Area and the Bay Circuit Trail.We will be closing off an existing section of muddy trail, rerouting the trail, constructing a boardwalk across the wetland area and resurfacing portions of the trail. There will be something for volunteers of all ages and skill levels to do, so bring out the whole family for a fun and rewarding day of trail work! Click herefor more information and to register.
